Version 1.1.3
Released: September 5, 2026
This hotfix covers end-user fixes since version 1.1.2.
Fixes
- Fixed Unicode model and texture paths, plus material, bone, morph, and warning names, for PMX and other supported formats.
- Fixed glTF sheen and specular textures, UV sets and transforms, scalar channels, and high-dynamic-range specular colors across import, rendering, material editing, and export.
- Fixed supported glTF material extensions being reported as unsupported.
- Fixed some FBX materials appearing self-illuminated because ambiguous legacy emissive values were treated as authored emission.
- Fixed automatic transparency after texture edits so mixed opaque, cutout, and translucent regions rebuild immediately and return to the correct automatic blend state.
- Fixed panel dropdowns and color pickers being obstructed by dock separators, and fixed sliders losing their drag when the pointer moves outside the window.
Version 1.1.2
Released: September 4, 2026
This patch covers end-user changes since version 1.1.1.
New features
- Added a per-material Double Sided control, including an option to restore the source-authored value.
- Added a dockable Model Error panel that collects model-loading errors and warnings and can copy the complete diagnostic list.
Improvements
- Improved FBX material accuracy for emission, opacity and transparency, reflection and specular response, height and displacement, and scalar texture channels.
Fixes
- Fixed FBX morphs so supported targets and animation remain available when individual source channels are unusable, while the initial pose no longer applies every facial expression at once.
- Fixed mixed opaque, cutout, and translucent triangles within one textured primitive so each region uses the correct depth and transparency behavior.
Version 1.1.1
Released: September 1, 2026
This patch covers end-user changes since version 1.1.0 Beta 3.
Improvements
- Material Properties image controls now follow each channel's effective image automatically, with clearer Select image and No image loaded states plus a compact unlink action.
- Improved texture consistency across import, material editing, previews, render passes, presets, and model export, especially for images shared by multiple material channels and packed channel data.
- Improved PMX compatibility by retaining usable geometry and hierarchy when optional source corrections cannot be applied, preserving skinning in morph buffers, and keeping authored material names, opacity, specular/roughness intent, sidedness, and textures.
- PMX files with missing external textures now retain usable untextured materials and report one clear combined warning.
Fixes
- Fixed shared alpha atlases so opaque, cutout, and translucent primitives can use the correct depth and transparency behavior even when they share one source material.
- Fixed authored Blend materials being overwritten by texture analysis while still selecting optimized runtime behavior for each primitive.
- Fixed transparent surfaces to use the appropriate one-sided or two-sided two-pass rendering, and fixed thin versus solid transmission selection to follow material thickness.
- Fixed Material Properties image-dropdown scrolling and aligned active image-control feedback with the primary interface color.
Version 1.1.0 Beta
Released: August 30, 2026
This release covers end-user changes since version 1.0.1 Beta 1.
New features
- Added a session-only UV workspace with UV0/UV1 viewing, object selection and highlighting, surface-aware render passes, pinch zoom, and an optional wireframe overlay.
- Added OBJ export. Choosing an OBJ filename creates a named folder containing the OBJ, MTL, and referenced texture maps.
- Added a selected-material properties panel with texture-channel navigation, UV tiling controls, blend-mode control, and sheen, specular, and clearcoat material controls.
- Added resizable left and right workspace docks. Panels can snap into either side, use independent widths, and the Dimensions panel can be detached.
- Added broader Unicode text rendering for model names, paths, and interface content.
- Added an opt-in experimental Mesh Validator under Preferences > System, with Entire Scene and Selected Objects validation scopes and an F5 panel shortcut while enabled.
Improvements
- Replaced the experimental multi-model comparison workflow with one current model and the dedicated UV workspace. Opening another model now replaces the current model.
- Improved source-wireframe and dynamic-topology performance.
- Improved OpenUSD material texture processing.
- Improved material and object panels, status-bar presentation, playback-bar placement, viewport auto-hide transitions, tooltips, and narrow-window layout.
- The in-app Beta Notice now links directly to the public beta notice and release notes.
- Unsupported optional PMX morph types are now skipped when a usable model can still be loaded.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash when reloading a model while UV rendering resources were active.
- Fixed OBJ face groups appearing as separate objects and removed unused materials from exported files.
- Fixed UV seams after Assimp vertex joining, UV focus centering, UV presentation, wireframe ordering, and touch pinch sensitivity.
- Fixed object visibility synchronization between the 3D and UV views.
- Fixed fractional UV tiling edits, material source-mode synchronization, material-card touch scrolling and thumbnail interactions, and numeric field selection on repeated clicks.
- Fixed selection outlines and viewport overlays being clipped or layered incorrectly around docked panels.
- Fixed the Windows system beep triggered by Alt-based shortcuts.
Documentation compatibility
Feature and format pages describe verified behavior for version 1.1.3 public beta. Import support is defined by the documented subset for each format; recognizing an extension does not imply complete support for every feature in that format.
